AI Clinical Co-Pilot for Therapists
Shaped the product strategy for an AI platform that automates clinical notes and surfaces insights for therapists.
I embed with your team and build alongside them — strategy, discovery, design, and the judgment calls in between. Not a deck-and-leave engagement: hands on the actual product.
I work with founders who need someone in the work, not above it. That means strategy and prioritization, but also the research habits, design standards, and decision systems that outlast any single engagement.
There's a product that matters and a team that cares. But no one whose full-time job is holding the product direction together. The founders are stretched. Priorities shift every few weeks. Features ship, but it's hard to say whether any of it is moving the needle.
You've probably thought about hiring a Head of Product. But the timing isn't right, the budget isn't there, or the role isn't scoped enough to attract the right person. So it stays on the list. And the product keeps drifting.
The roadmap changes every board meeting
Nobody owns the product direction full-time
Discovery keeps getting pushed to next quarter
I sit in the standups, shape the features, push back on scope, and help the team make better product decisions every week. I'm not writing a strategy deck for someone else to execute. I'm doing the work alongside your team.
That usually means owning the roadmap, running discovery, reviewing designs, aligning engineering and clinical teams, and making sure the product direction holds up under pressure. The specifics depend on where your product is and what the team needs most.
What doesn't change is the goal: by the time the engagement ends, your team should be stronger, not dependent. I focus on building the habits, systems, and decision frameworks that last.
EMBED
I learn the product, the team, the users, and where the gaps are.
SHAPE
We define what matters, what to defer, and how to make clear decisions.
BUILD
I work alongside the team day-to-day: discovery, features, reviews.
STRENGTHEN
I build the systems, hire the people, and set the habits so the team doesn't need me anymore. That's the whole point.
"Adrien rapidly built credibility across the organization and delivered meaningful improvements to our product capability.
Every team is different. The right level of involvement depends on where your product is, what the team needs, and what you're trying to achieve. That's what the first conversation is for.
A short call to understand your product, your team, and what's not working. No pitch. Just a conversation about where things stand.
Based on what I learn, I propose an engagement structure: scope, rhythm, and duration. Most engagements run 2-4 months.
I embed with the team and we begin with alignment. You'll see traction within the first two weeks.
I take on a limited number of fractional engagements at a time. If the timing doesn't work, I'm happy to recommend someone who can help.
